Anaphylaxis Message

Within our school community there are students who have a potentially life-threatening allergy (anaphylaxis) to foods, predominantly to peanuts and tree nuts (e.g. almond, cashew, hazelnut, pistachio).

As per Sabrina’s Law, our responsibility is to provide an environment that is safe for all students. In the spirit of caring for all members of the school community, we respectfully ask for your cooperation by not sending any nut or nut-based products to school in your child’s lunches and snacks. We would also ask that you take some time to explain to your child, the seriousness of food allergies for some children. Please note that children are not allowed to share or exchange any of their lunches/snacks with any classmates at school.

If you have any concerns or further questions, please feel free to contact the main office at (705-945-7120)
